Bring Your A-Game

3 Main ways you can get involved

1. BE A PARTICIPANT

If you are 16-28 THE best way you can get involved is by being a participant.

With SYG running for over 30 years we know how good it is!          It is the best weekend of the year. We have seen thousands and thousands of young people come from all sorts of sporting abilities make SYG a staple in the year. So if you have been 10 times or have never been before make sure you lock it in for 2018.

Keep supporting this incredible event by being a part of it.

2. VOLUNTEER

There are games to umpire, oranges to cut and ice packs to fetch.

If it wasn’t for our 100 plus volunteers, our first event in 1987 would have been our last. And, if you are just are *just a bit* out of the age range of participants, it’s a great way to be a part of what is happening in a useful way. Of course, all adult volunteers will require a current WA Working with Children Check (WWCC) Card which will be scanned when you register.

Event Coordinators are also volunteers but have a bit more responsibility and authority. They are the person-in-charge of one sport on the day and are relied upon to make decisions and ensure competitions are run smoothly and fairly.

3. SPONSOR AN EVENT & OTHER EXPOSURE

You don’t need to be a chartered accountant to work out it costs a stack of money to move, house, clothe and feed over 1,300 people for 3 days. Yes, teams pay fees to come along. But we don’t want anyone to miss out on being a part of what God is doing in the lives of WA’s young people just because they are a bit strapped.

We would love to set up a win-win partnership. Talk to us about how your donation can be leveraged with naming rights to an event for only $250, or there are opportunities to supply branded items for our gift packs, have your banner on stage, and other effective publicity strategies for a small investment. Our business partners really help us out and early funding assists in the planning.
